The more we observe with care, the more associations and patterns and stories we create for ourselves. Close observation is like any exercise, physical or intellectual or spiritual. The more we see, the more we see.
These bodies of works are the metaphor for how we exchange knowledge, how the synthesis of apparently different layers widens our perspective, and how observation deepens our understanding of the reality in which we live.
Although artworks are static, they are activated by the mobility of the viewer, using perspective and illusion to present the moving eye with shifting patterns of color and form that ripple, break and reform.
